MORE PRACTICE. Well today I did the morning swim things again. I can't tell if I'm improving or not but it seems a little easier even if the times don't improve. I feel like I'm getting a cardio workout anyway.
My dive buddy, Tyco and I worked on our use of the dive tables and wheel today. The wheel is a PADI device to plan safe dives similar to a table but more like a sliderule. Its not too hard to use.
We went diving the afternoon and got one of the new DM's to help us practice the skills we didn't do well on the other day. I'm still not confident at all but its really a required piece. You basically demonstrate various diving skills very slowly and exaggerated to students can see what you are doing. Its actually fun but challenging and a bit hard to remember all the steps.
I really learned that this entire program is pretty much at my pace today. I just tell them what I'm really for next and they help me get through it. I think I'll do the stamina test next week as well as a couple more knowledge tests.
